Originally an 80's spec town home with more stairs and landings than rooms. We used creative techniques to reduce the number of levels by 4. Our team successfully went through the heritage process in Rosedale to argue that the 80's palladian windows were not heritage and were able to replace them with 8ft high divided light windows on 2 floors of the front facade. We designed a new show stopping staircase from the basement to the third floor that had more gracious treads without excessive structural changes. We worked with well known designer Connie Breamar to seamlessly combine the architecture and the interiors.
